How to Print Money Legally using Mobile Marketing (Opportunity of a Lifetime)

mobile marketing

One of the biggest problems facing business owners today and it’s getting worse is to get their marketing message (advertising) read or opened if we are talking about the Internet world.

The reason of course is the clutter and noise from everyone else’s messages that gets in the way of yours.

Another problem is a consumption issue that the consumer is faced with, they just don’t, even if they want to, have enough time to read everything.

Furthermore, the number one reason advertising doesn’t work is because it didn’t get seen.

That is not what most business owners think when dealing with the failure of their advertising. They think it were things like “it was a bad ad”, “the message was wrong”, “the offer was wrong”, “the media was wrong” …

Well all those can affect your result, but number one is not being seen.

Now for the good news…

The good news according to research is 98%-100% of all SMS’s are read within the first 3 minutes of them being sent.

There is not a media alive that can compete with that statistic and if you are not using mobile marketing, you are missing an “opportunity of a lifetime” that may not last forever.

Who knows what the regulators have planned for us.

Anyway, like any media, to get incredible results, you have got to do it correctly.

Read on to discover how to do mobile marketing correctly, which also includes a sample SMS that has done somewhere around $100,000 plus in sales.

Before I reveal the sample SMS, it’s important you understand there are only 3 ways to grow a business.

The first and most common way is to GET NEW CLIENTS and that is the most expensive thing you will ever do in business although you must do it.

Most businesses, by default, focus solely on increasing the number of customers. Finding more people to give you money is the most logical place to start when you need to bring in new business (especially when it’s urgent).

And that can work. It’s just not the most efficient use of resources… and it comes with a high risk factor.

The second way to grow any business is to INCREASE THE TRANSACTION SIZE.

And the third way is to grow a business is to INCREASE THE PURCHASING FREQUENCY and get them coming back more often.

So of the three ways to grow a business, the best is to increase the purchasing frequency of your existing customers.

The reason of course that this works best is because you already have a relationship (hopefully a good one) with the client, they already know you and like you.

So all that said, there is 2 very important points I have made here…

#1 – The very best way to grow your business is to increase the purchasing frequency.
#2 – The very best way I know how to do that, that is the most instant and cost effective is mobile marketing.

So bringing those 2 together, here is a sample SMS that brought in approximately $63,000 in sales the first time it was sent my client’s database and the good news is, it is still being sent out.

Point being, once you get a marketing piece like an SMS working, keep sending it out in a timely manner.

[your business name or your name] 3 Day Once a Year 15% off all [your product or service] Easter Special! Visit or Phone to order [phone number] Buy NOW and Save! Send STOP to optout

Here is another example. The product is pizza’s but you could easily replace that with your product or service.

Note! This promotion was over a period of 1 month and there is a set of 3 sequential emails to be sent out on the 7th, 14th and 21st of the month.

September Special at [your business name or your name]. Get 2 large pizzas just $20 SAVE $20. Show this phone offer NOW and Save Send STOP to optout

Reminder Sept Special at [your business name or your name]. Get 2 large pizzas just $20 SAVE $20. Show phone offer NOW only 16 days left Send STOP to optout

Reminder Sept Special at [your business name or your name]. Get 2 large pizzas just $20 SAVE $20. Show phone offer NOW only 9 days left Send STOP to optout

There are a few things you have to understand here…

For a start, you should try and keep your SMS to under 160 characters (including spaces) because that is the maximum number of characters a standard text message allows.

You can go over that number, but you will pay more money to do so, the rate of 2 standard messages.

Something else you need to understand and this is good news, there is very few industries that couldn’t benefit from using mobile marketing, here are some more statistics that prove that.

Here is the response rate to various industries within the first 15 minutes of them being sent.

  • Retail: 32%
  • Betting & Trading: 33%
  • Entertainment: 37%
  • Travel & Transportation: 54%
  • Finance & Banking: 57%

And that research was based on over 1 Billion SMS’s being sent in various countries.

If you think SMS messaging is not for you, read this case study below. It’s for a wholesale company selling furniture direct to the public.

This 12 location retailer was able to build a mobile subscriber database of 50,000 customers. To do this, they advertised their new mobile marketing campaign in-store, online, and in their print advertising.

While it’s essential that a retailer adequately advertise their mobile campaign to their customers to grow their customer database, they used a proven strategy to grow their customer database at hyper speed.

It only requires that a retailer offer some sort of incentive for a customer to join the mobile campaign, besides just receiving future mobile promotions.

They did this by offering $5 off any purchase over $25 when a customer joined their retail mobile marketing campaign.

Even more impressive about the results of this retailer’s mobile marketing campaign is that on average, customers with the text message promotion spent 80% more than customers that didn’t receive the promotion.

More specifically, customers that received the text message offer spent on average $45 at this retailer, while customers that didn’t receive the text message offer only spent $25.

If you want to put all this on steroids at the same time as you run the mobile SMS marketing campaign, run the campaign through email to the same list also.

However, if your open rate is anywhere near 20% you have done well with email, but don’t let that stop you… the combined effect of SMS and email is expediential.
